RAINBOWS
ON THE STREET
Oil and water don't mix.
But they make beautiful rainbows
on a rainy street.
I stepped out of my car,
on a very rainy Saturday morning,
looked down at the pavement
and saw this amazing prism of color
on an oily leak from someone's car.
(I love finding beauty
in all the wrong places.)
