IN THE RAIN
Who would have thought an outdoor wedding
would be threatened by rain . . .
in drought stricken St. Louis in late August?
But Hurricane Isaac made a bulls-eye heading for St. Louis,
after dumping up to 20" of rain on New Orleans,
bringing much needed heavy rain to the Midwest.
All those preparations and decorations for
a beautiful outdoor wedding . . . the gazebo setting . . .
what to do, what to do?
Well, the guests showed up, umbrellas in hand.
And the ceremony went on, with guests standing,
to witness a beautiful ceremony.
A beautiful wedding.
(And no one here much minds the beautiful rain.)
