SNOW FALL

As I walked to my 

early morning coffee stop,

the snow was falling.

Even in the dark,

we watched the snow

paint the city white,

and quiet the neighborhood.

No cars, no traffic.

Just an occasional plow

clearing the streets.

When daylight came,

our city wore a white blanket.
