FUN ON THE 4TH OF JULY

The carnival came to town 

(Webster Groves Days, St. Louis).

 The rains stayed away, so . . .

Crowds enjoyed a holiday filled with

games of skill, Ferris wheels, Tilt-a-whirl,

and rides that threw and turned you

upside down.

Little ones won their first stuffed animal,

and girls dunked their boyfriends

in a tub of cold water.

And of course there were

corn dogs, funnel cakes and fried Oreos.

(Oh my!)

What a day.

(And fireworks at night.)
