ROCKS FROM THE RIVER

Discoveries from the gravel bar

  on the Meramec River. 

This is cave country, 

so a mix of crystals, geodes,

quartz, agate, limestone

and Indian flint points.

And occasionally,

rocks that look like rocks,

but aren't.

(And bear tracks in the sand?)
