FAREWELL MY BARISTA
I am spoiled.
I start each day
with very good coffee.
(It's important. It's essential.)
I am blessed to have a very good
coffee shop (Kaldi's Coffee)
steps from my front door.
I am also blessed to have had
a very good barista (my friend, John)
prepare and serve my coffee.
Alas, John is moving on and up
to another location and neighborhood,
which happens to very good people.
But I shall miss him,
and wish him well.
(He remains my good friend.)

ReplyDeleteUsed to have a good chock full o nuts coffee shop on the next block, but they closed down, and a juice bar/coffee shop opened with the absolute worst coffee.
