FAVORITE OCTOBER CORN
This is the season
to celebrate the bounty
of this year's corn harvest,
in all its varieties.
Local sweet corn
is still available.
Feed corn is drying
in the fields.
Colorful Indian corn
is used for holiday decorating.
(And is great for popping.)
But my favorite, by far,
is candy corn.
A favorite treat for Halloween.
