JUST WHAT TROUT NEED

Maramec Spring is the fifth

largest spring in Missouri

(over a 100-million gallons/day).

Cold, pure, pristine water

from deep beneath the surface,

feeding into the upper Meramec River

(and downstream from the cabin.)

Just what trout need to propagate. 

And so . . .

there's a trout hatchery 

whose sole purpose is to

hatch, raise and release

tens of thousands of rainbow trout

into the Meramec.

(They can't wait to get to the river.)
