THE MARKET
AT TOWER GROVE
Where I go shopping
on Saturday mornings.
(Even when it's 45˚F . . . Brrrr.)
Where the vendors are the
ones who grow the food.
Where food is beautiful.
And everyone smiles.
This morning I bought
new crop apples,
rainbow carrots,
sweet cherry peppers,
free range eggs,
sprouts,
and the most amazing pumpkin.
And then down the street
for a butter croissant
from Patisserie Chouquette.
(A wonderful indulgence.)
