AND THEIR TOYS

It seems that model airplanes

have gone "high tech",

helicopters too.

These are not the little rubber-band

airplanes I used to play with . . .

no, these are gasoline-powered

airplanes and helicopters

that are radio-controlled,

maneuverable and fast-fast-fast.

(Some of these planes are 6-feet long.)

The helicopters reach speeds of 150 mph!

These "pilots" are enjoying a beautiful day

at Buder Park in St. Louis County.

(Is that a jet aircraft in the back of that man's car?)
