WHERE STARS ARE BORN

(And we don't mean Hollywood!)

The Hubble Space Telescope is celebrating

its 25th anniversary this month.

And to celebrate this important birthday,

NASA is sharing its most recent

iconic images of the Eagle Nebula,

some 7,000 light years from earth.

The Eagle Nebula contains star-forming

gas and dust, literally "the birthplace of stars,"

including the "Pillars of Creation" (top photo)

photographed in 1995 and again this year.

NASA's space missions have kept

Hubble at the forefront of astronomy.
