WEEKEND DRIVEWAY

I love the driveway
to my weekend retreat.

Not many dirt roads
I stop to take pictures of.
(Except this one.)

Quiet, always beautiful.
Especially this time of year.

Lined with Missouri sassafras trees.
The only leaf with 1, 2 or 3 fingers.
(like this one)

    Beautiful tranquility exudes path.
    That's still a lot of green trees.
    There are a lot already bald of trees, tree leaves fallen to the ground.
