"HARDEST CLIMB IN THE WORLD"
What has been described world wide
as the most difficult and impossible
"free climb" imaginable
has been achieved by two American climbers,
up the sheer, vertical face of El Capitan
in Yosemite National Park.
Tommy Caldwell and Kevin Jorgeson
began their ascent on December 27,
and began their final "free hand" climb
up the 3,000-foot vertical Dawn Wall,
at dawn Tuesday morning.
They reached the summit at 3:30pm Wednesday.
Without any climbing tools,
Only their hands and feet!
