COMPETING FOR POLLINATORS
Let's face it,
a flower's job is to
be stunning . . .
through color, design
and fragrance.
To be absolutely irresistible
to pollinating insects.
Their future depends on it.
Collecting pollen from its stamens
(usually six),
and depositing on its single pistil.
A beautiful process,
don't you think?
(Thank you pollinators,
especially bees.)
